Open House Athens completes nine years of existence this year and can proudly state that it is the architectural event that became an institution.
The idea started in London in 1992, and to date has spread to more than 50 cities in the world, among which are Thessaloniki and Athens. Every year, for two days, public and private buildings of architectural interest open their doors to the public for free, turning the city into an open museum, with the buildings themselves on display. This year, Open House Athens returns on Saturday and Sunday April 1st and 2nd.
